Mama's Boy

I think that Facebook has hindered my blogging abilities because most people are on there and I can create a quick update to let people know what's going on with me/us. So if you're no on facebook, you should be, and once you sign up, add me. And don't say that you're too old, there are some 80 year old women on there. If they can get the hang of it, then you can too. :)
So we had a double whammy doctor's appointment yesterday. Pressley had her four year check and up Jackson has his four month. It didn't go well. First, Pressley had to have five shots (she would want me to tell you that first because she has been a major drama queen about it). I feel for the little girl. She could hardly walk today. But Jackson's story is worse. He has always been a little guy, but he was severely underweight. I was told that I had to supplement formula so it looks like breastfeeding will be coming to an end for me.
On one hand, I'm really proud that I made it to four months breastfeeding. It didn't work out at all with Pressley. But I've just really enjoyed this experience and the bonding aspect of it. I knew it would have to end at some point, but I'm pretty sad that it is ending this way. But making sure that my little guy is healthy is my main priority and I will do everything I can to make sure of it.
Have I mentioned lately how much in love I am with Jackson? Due to breastfeeding and being a stay-at-home mommy, we have a very strong bond. Like, I'm the only person that he smiles and giggles at and I won't lie...I love it! Before he came along, I didn't know how I could love another baby like I do Pressley. He makes it easy! I've realized that you don't love one more than the other, your love just expands.
Aside from his weight issues, Jackson is doing great. He's a happy baby and sleeps during the night. And he adores his momma.
